Hi!

A Bit About Me

I'm a former member of the 2023-2024 New York Times Fellowship class, a program for journalists early in their career. I covered a range of topics, including the environment, education and infrastructure.

I graduated from Boston University in May 2023 with degrees in political science and journalism, as well as a minor in African American studies. Throughout college, I interned at The Richmond Times-Dispatch, Boston Magazine, The Dallas Morning News and NBC News. At these outlets, I covered all kinds of stories, including politics, transportation and features on local businesses. I was also the editor-in-chief of my university’s independent student newspaper, The Daily Free Press. My senior year I was honored to receive top college journalist of the year from the New England Newspaper & Press Association and first place for in-depth reporting for an investigation a colleague and I wrote about BU's orientation director. I’m originally from San Antonio, Texas.
